No need to be embarrassed, it was probably a bit simular to my runin with one of the said little buggers,.I'm travelling on a B road between Aylesbury and Towcester,a Pug 305 screams past me and rest of traffic,so i thought,gonna get ya,gets further into the sticks,and can i reel him can i fuck,just corners like a gokart he does at some wicked speeds,never passed him for 15 miles or so till got on A5 to Towcester/Daventry then passed him at 140mph,they are some wicked handlin motors,now i know why out of a clarkson super car test they pissed it on the handling tests,anyway i wonder if MAC had same kinda runin,not getting passed him,on twisty roads near impossible,just thought i would tell my story.

i had this 205 rallye (one down from the 1600 GTI) for a while. only had a 1360cc engine, not even injected or anything but god was it nippy. top end was only about a ton but on winding roads there wasn't much that could touch me. used to hoon it down the A49 flying past all sorts of posh motors with a massive grin on my face. aaaaah, happy days!

You are all way off so you'll have to keep guessing what happened when he followed me home - in my silver Pug 206.

 

1) he got nicked

2) he spun out

3) he wooped the pugs ass ;O)

I've got a 306gti-6 as well as my Z.. I can't sell it.. it's wonderful!!

 

Nothing handles like it.. and that 6 speed box is wonderful.. no idea if it'd keep up with the Z though.. probably not.

Yup the Peugeot thing is great - got a 309GTI which is a hoot, never use it - has no mot but I fired it up last night after it had been sat for 6 months, there were weeds growing out of the bonnet and it looked a right wreck, but it fired up first crack - was tempted to take it for a spin, its like a go-kart.

 

Might put it back on the road, godda be cheaper than a 'liner
