Well ater my car was collected from SWZ, due to them making it worse than before it went in and before work was carried out to rectify by Zedworld, the old thing had a MOT to check what was wrong and failed on 48 points. Wow never knew you could have that many failure points lol. There are also about 10 other things that need to be rectified.

Sad thing is if anybody remember PJ said car was finished all bar the Welding Work, it had 13 points classed as dangerous and if the car was driven it would have killed me.

What were the points though marcus ? I know PJ let you down with your car, but all his job to do was to replace your dead engine with your supplied engine.

we could start a " how many refusals" thread, winner wins a prize.

Yep :(

Sorry but around half of those items are not even MOT test items!

I merged the mechanics report and Mot report together.

So what were the 48 refusals on the MOT test then? Sounds a bit over zealous to me tbh....

  • Author

Yep Andy there are stuff on there which normally would not fail, once Mr MOT man finds 1 big fail he normally lists every single little near fail. 4 of the fails were due to missing wheel nuts, 4 on the list were down as items not tested (X9999).

Yeah you're right about that, once they fail it they tend to go mad on everything. Shame really :( Looks like another Z heading for breaking :(

Good luck with whatever you chose to do with it.

yep, the one i did break (my silver one) was in better condition than the one I'm fixing LOL

Suprised you didn't pick up a box of bits rather than a car!

The bits would have fallen through the holes in the car if i did that LOL

Sorry to see its in such a bad way Marcus. When do you expect to have her back ?

Think Id just brake it and be done with it. Sorry to see this thread though bud

I'd be tempted to break it too. I know it is sad, but the cost of zeds these days, you could pick up a decent one for a steal.

Good luck with it anyway mate...

I think Marcus doesn't want to give in. Been messed about by the sounds of it, has a car that he's had to pretty much sacrifice. Gone too far with it now. Probably now wants to prove a point. I know I would
