Looked different to me too, but then i squinted like darkside said and it is true, they are the same. :)

huh??? just put in paint with the colour picker they are the same, how random.

thats clever stuff! they do indeed look very different... i have a book called 'phantasmagrams' (no its not a book of sexual positions!) which is full of visual illusions such as this 1... makes a good read :D

Makes a good headache more like! ;)

well it all looks the same can anyone else see different colour dots and sqiggly lines or am i still drunk from last night :duffer:

i did the facebook optical illusions test and i got 100% including that one :)

it's somethink to do with it being in the shadow of the sphere and your brain compensates for it and makes it look lighter than it is. weird but true.... it's called an optical illiuson
