Interested to hear members opinions on the aftermarket door mirrors, opposed to standard.. :cool:

I want the Gandor carbon ones to match my bonnet but at over £200 plus vat i'll have to save my pennies.

I dont like most Aftermarket mirror choices but the Veilside/Ganador I do. Nice design, good quality, smaller than the slightly too large standard mirrors but still have good rear view.

It has to be the gandor mirrors :cool:

Went for ganador mirrors. Plus I have them on a widebody car if you want an idea of how they look, check out my rides or the link below. Initially the mirrors seemed really small but quickly got used to them, plus have to reverse into an awkward spot at home and no porblems.

Standard, they look good, they are more practical (better view) and they fold in. ;)

Ganador mirrors everytime but don't buy the cheap ebay copies as they don't fit!

Standard Mirrors look better, function better and go with the lines of the car.

 

Can't stand all these wings bonnets nose pannels and mirrors with holes everywhere. The cars end up looking like something out of Stingray, Thunderbirds or Flash Gordon.

Your Zed is among a few out there that are starting to convince me that the standard car just lowered and some nice wheels is the best way to go for pure looks.

 

Though I'm not keen on the standard or the 99 spec front bumper.

They do look nice fitted to a Zed but the view from them is poor. I have had a few near misses with them and have now got a set of original mirrors to fit but I am still loathing to change them. On reflection though safety is more important than looks.

What about the Bomex ones?

I have already bought the Veilside mirrors, I went to great lengths to find a set aswell, as the Veilsides are no longer distributed in the UK (Ganador are), but even Ganador mirrors were not available when I was looking for a pair a few months ago.. friday (Leigh) on here was kind enough to sell me his brand new unused Veilsides.. Now I'm not sure about them :headvswal

I used to think the standard mirrors looked like shovels, and loved the stumpy Veilside look, but now think the zed suits more sticky out mirrors :cool:

Standard mirrors are usefull for a widearch in the same way whiskers are for Cats !

 

When squeezing through a gap, If they touch then you know the rear wont fit through either LOL

Standard by far. Can't beat the original design. Neat and clean looking.
