House question- moving lamp posts?

We are looking at another house move :hurl: .

Thing is, right where we want to widen + extend the drive is a lamp post, has any one had one moved? , or most importantly know what it costs?

The house is in cambridgeshire + i've had a google or two, but am still in the dark? £500? £1750??.I need the extra room for the zeds wide doors :p

    My folks had theirs moved when they widened the

    driveway, was a few yrs ago now, think it was about £400'ish.

    You need to contact the local council.

    Generally, you will need to speak to the Parish Council, as they are responsible for these. They will co-ordinate with the Highways Agency.

    insurance would skin you alive for backing into it, my mate swerved to miss a dog and ploughed into a lampost, cost him £1500 to replace as he wasnt fully comp
