Could anyone tell me what a sticker on my timing cover might mean

It says nissan some japanese writing and 100,000km

I'm thinking it has just been serviced by a nissan dealer and the next service is due at 100thou and the belts haven't been done yet

Its at 89 thou at the mo

I know its probably a service sticker but you never know

its a reminder for the timing belt service which should be done at 60,000 miles or 100,000 km

Yes mate it's a service sticker.I've also got some when you open the front doors near the hinges.I'm not 100% on this but i don't think jap's have MOT's but they have to have there cars serviced regular by law.

if it's 17 years old like mine should be done as a rountine anyway. Rubber perishes recommened to do if you're the new owner

First thing i had done. Didn't know if it had been done or not so better safe than sorry.

 

Thought it was a good idea to get it done before spending a load of money on mods etc.
