just been out to start the zed ( shes off the road till i tax her on friday ) and the old problem is still there

when i turn the ignition key off and remove it the engine still runs till i press the accelerator pedal . this is now really beginning to get on my tits

ive changed the ignition barrel and had a diagnostic check and its NOT got a turbo timer on it cos sometimes if i leave it she will run for a couple of minutes and then stall and yet sometimes she will run on for ages until i press the pedal

pleeeeease someone must know what it could be

any advise will be appreciated

Ask Andy About That Mine Did That A Little Bit Too, Do You Have A Turbo Timer?

Wonder if it could be a faulty ECU? Maybe an alarm issue holding the ignition on? And he said NO turbo timer Saz :p LOL ;)

so i need another ecu to check it and see if thats the problem cheers guys and gals

I would put money on it being the ecu. My old zed was doing this and a change of ecu cured it. I think it may have been caused by jump starting the car, but could never prove it.
