Really feel for you, compadre... that is a great looking zed, never seen a prolonged bulge like that... and cream interior! Best of luck and naturally will keep eyes peeled... this kinda stuff always reminds me of;

cheers peeps, i'm in benfleet. dont hold out much hope tbh as i would have thought its long gone by now. this country is getting to be a joke and the police response on friday night when asked if they were coming out to me was a joke "no we have emergencies to deal with". If i'd have caught whoever did it THEN they would have been straight round and locked me up !

if it aint been spotted yet im sure it has been stolen to order, these cars are rarely pinched for joyridig as they are easily spotted by police

remember when paulg's was stolen, i offered to take him looking for it as i knew some of the areas it was took from, maybe worth while lookin yourself, i did this with a cousin of mine when his nova was took, we found the scum parking the car up, eventually the police were called and they turned a blind eye to the "markings" on his face and torso

Have to disagree that it has been stolen to order. You can buy them for next to nothing.

 

Unfortunately that means it is probably a joy ride and it is in a field somewhere.

 

I had my astra GTE stolen several times, it took them 2 weeks to find it once despite them knocking onmy door and asking me if I had had my var stolen. (a neighbour had reported it). This was some 20 years ago so things haven't really changed.

 

Heres hoping that they find it soon and it is the usual door lock etc that has been damaged.

As you have had some parts nicked off the car recently before, then it's likely that another 300ZX owner may have stolen it to cannibalise for parts?

Although these cars are now worth very little, the type of person who can afford a cheap one, may have targeted your car, to improve their own shoddy example!

thanks everyone, yeah it has a clifford G5 on it so apparently not easy to nick but who knows. the copper that came round asked me if it was an easy car to hot wire !! how am i supposed to know that. i dont think they really have any idea what they are actually looking for tbh

Of all the times a ZX refuses to start, its amazing how well they do when people want to nick em!

 

Maybe some of these car thieves can give us some advice on how to make most of them start on the button! lol

 

On a darker note, looked a really lovly example, a shame in this day and age that you cant have a nice car anymore because its either targetted for vandelism or stolen. Makes me sick.
