Can I just say that as a new member to the 300zx website( not yet subscribed) and now being the proud owner ZED, I am amazed at the Help, Response and Kindness you get from other members on the forum. First of all, a big thankyou to stenorth - Stephen Northwood. Thanks for the boot struts and for posting them off so quick..Your a star. Thanks to the other members who have replied to my requests in the past and others who have previously posted requests and from me reading them, Have picked up a few good tips.

So this is my story

To be honest, I have never taken a lot of notice to the Zx in the past until I was lucky enough to buy a 300 zx G reg Jap spec NON Turbo around 4 weeks ago from my brother in law who was runs a garage. He needed the space and wanted it shifted quick. £ 600 was what I paid for it and to be honest, it was in quite good condition. A new radiator, Weather strips, Boot strusts and a £250 paint job, a few little bits here and there and she would be a good looking car. Almost all the above are done apart from the paint job which is due to be done next week.

I never thought that driving a car would be so much fun and a pleasure to drive. I love it and so does the wife. Its been hard work at times trying to get parts for it but I guess thats part of the fun. And as for the fuel consuption. I think I need to Take out a second mortgage... but hay, Who gives a s*** I'm enjoying myself

And what a great website. Sounds like you guys have a good laugh and hope to go to one of the meets soon and put some names to faces.

If anyone is around the Heathrow, Bedfont, Feltham area and you see some short Fat 35 year old driving a grey ZED with a big grin on he,s face then it,s probably me, so give us a wave.

Thanks again everyone.

I live in Bedfont and work in Asford. I have seen 2 ZEDs so far, One parked in stanwell and the other i think was a red one driving along the clockhouse lane.

Sorry ASHFORD not Asford....

Thanks.
