Car is running great but a strange thing happened today!?

 

I was at a set of traffic lights ~(car was warm) in Park and the revs were idling at 2K revs?? dropped it into Drive with foot on brake and it levelled at 750, put it back in park and revved as usual at about 900 RPM?? Any thoughts? not happened since, was raining really bad if that helps.

Happened to me once, only once mind so i just left it. :) I would'nt read anything into it unless it happens again. HTH.

 

Also you don't need to put your car in Park when you stop at lights and junctions etc... just knock it into neutral. ;)

You don't even need to put it in neutral really lol.

 

Back on topic, what air filter do you have?

Can be caused by a number of things, but it's usually a loose/corroded plug on the AAC valve, which controls idle rpm.
