Ok i know people say to just cut and wiring in the 2k headlights into the old headlight loom as the connectors are different. But there must be a wiring loom that the 2k zeds had to fit the 2k headlights that would be a simple plug and play method wouldnt there?? I know its probably the hard way to do this but i dont want to cut wires on my $2000 dollar headlights if there is a plug and play method.

The other idea i have is to have an adaptor made up that will connect the old 2 connector headlight loom into the the new single connector 2k lights. All i need to know now is where i get the 3 pin connection connector for the 2k connector.

Hi mate, i think there only around 4 or 5 of us who have fitted the 99 spec fronts, so doubt you'll find the answer yer looking for as am sure we've just wired them in as required. Did you not try the wiring loom that Coz does as an optional extra ?

Nah the COZ pre wired are for US spec zeds ive got a Jspec. Damn i knew this quyestion woukldnt be easy to get an answer. oh well ill keep searching and see what i can find. Cheers Smithy. I may pm u wen i remember to install the lights and ask for your wiring up method. But for now i dont want to install them until ive got a whole bunch of other new parts.

Well seeing as the US spec zeds actually have a number of jap spec zed parts on them, are yer sure the wiring for the lights is deffo different ? mines a UK spec which is deffo different to jap spec and US spec.

Personally i'd buy Coz's wiring kit, cos it deffo ain't UK spec and can only be a kick in the arse away from jap spec, if different at all!

Mine are wired via a relay so that the main beam (HID) stays on when i go onto full beam. Man these things are bright :D
