There's no way you were doing 10 mph when that happened lol.

The car was moving 10mph maybe less but the backend was doing another speed altogether. hit the kurb sideways... ouch was a bit of a bump but didnt think it would damage that much, weak wishbone if you ask me.

I'd rather have a wishbone fold up than something more serious bend. What I mean is, if the wishbone was stronger something else would have to take the force which might not so easy and convenient to replace!

 

Should be an easy job to fix now you're this far!

yeah of course.... if not the wishbone then the subframe.... grrrrr now thats loooong. did leave a mark on a bit of the subframe but nothing to cry home about.

Nice job on the arms.... would normally say accidents do happen, but after reading some of your previous posts I all I can say is it was just a matter of time!. Good to see that there isnt too much damage and its easily fixable, and more importantly no one got hurt.

i wasnt what i call an acident really just a silly mistake. wasnt going fast. just doing s u turn on an A road spun it and hit the kurb. annoying really.

I love an empty car park on a rainy day... bundles of fun and not to much strain on the tyres and components :)

road was very busy, i was trying to show off but also trying to avoid having to do a 3 pointer. Was at an + junction and my lights were green to go right but i was doing a u turn as the tracking garage was on the other side of the road.

 

Now i have done this move many times and its never gone wrong.... but i recently fitted these new wheels which are much wider, so as i have tryed to spin the rear in order to make a quik 180 the wheels didnt spin as quick as i thought (MORE GRIP) when the eventually spun it was too late and the rear end hit the kurb :(

 

Good enough for ya? thats the truth honest... you aint guna get it any clearer than that.

 

Worst thing was it was very busy everyone saw and must have thought what a twat....

The only thing about showing off, is when it back fires, you end up looking like a bigger **** than if you had never bothered.

 

Its just lucky that you weren't hurt or the damage was not worse, at least this way its just your wallet that has suffered and not your limbs.

Because i would of done the same if it was quiet and a wide enough road :D

To be honest i prefere the original wheels for muckng about.... they are alot easier to drift in etc... ahh well il learn.
