Most of the internal plastic boot trim needs to come out. Start in the inside centre section (where the reversing lights are) and work your way around towards the wheel arches

Yeah.

But like i said its pretty simple. ;)

Nothing i can tell you :( I can get the trim off but not much else. I'm not what you would call mechanically minded, i'm sure i could be - but i'm too lazy. :D

Good luck :p

I hate those hidden screws which are a bugger to find, you end up breaking half the plastics in frustration. ahhhhhhhhh

a tip for you, as you remove the panels put the screws and bolts back in the place they came from (minus the trim lol), it makes it a lot easier than lookin in a tub and thinking "where the fook does this one go"

From what i remember, there is'nt many hidden. I have a very short temper and usually break all sorts of things but i did'nt break anything when i took all my rear trim out.

Honestly bud its a peice of piss, 30 mins tops - and i ain't no genius! :D

And when you go to put the trim back you'll forget they're there and will get really pissed off that the trim won't refit.:rofl::rofl:

Seriously though thats a good tip. :)

Ok i fitted the rear springs and it seems as tho they were not 35mm drop but something less... and the right side is lower thanthe left????? why??? pissed and skint........

you only need to remove all the boot plastic pannels if it is a LWB car. (OH yes start with the rear seat and then the rears door cards then go to the lights centre pannel)

However if it is a SWB you only need to remove the 2 square covers behind the seats just under the rear quarter lights.

Read last post mark....... ive done it but theres a problem.........

dont worry about it, it usualy takes about 2 weeks for new springs to settle so its just a case of drivinn it til it settles.

You need to get about 20 miles on them to get them to settle. Then if they aren't right have a word with Mike. What make of spring are they. I have the Blitz (Heibach really) on one of my cars and they took a week to settle properly, but the from still dropped about 1/2 inch more than rear.

No idea which ones they are i should of asked duuuh....

anyway i went for a good 20 mile drive just now.. the front looks sweet, but the back still looks high jacked. and the rear right is lower but i did change thr right spring first.

should i get my family to sleep in the back tonight would that help????

you sure it takes a week to settle???

ive read somewhere that if i aint seated properly the car will sit high, mine was like this when i first got it, after i had the tyres changed it went back to normal so it musnt take much to seat the spring properly

They are seated correctly i double checked that. Its probably more wear to one side of the suspension, all those silly moments around roundabouts which are all right handers.
