All working now, car had a flooded engine!! AA arrived just as I had fixed the problem!! Thanks to Tommy and Smithy for all your help!

Remove fuelpump fuse, from small fuse box and turn the car over and see if it will start then. If so, put fuse back in.

Went out to the car this morning because remote start didnt work and it took a good 2 second turn of the key and some acceleration to start? Any thoughts? Started it a couple of time since with remote start adn key and works first time!

If it helps temperature was 4 degrees this AM.

I would say stop remote starting the car unless you intend to drive it :D

You're gonna break something !

You probably flooded the engine again.

I never do it now unless it will be driven though? does sound like a flooding tho

By pressing the accelerator you are adding more fuel in, but at the engine cranks it pumps it out also.

If could be a number of things to be honest.

Once it has started does it misfire or run lumpy or is it fine once started ?

It's going to be Fuel, compression or spark. Whether that's electrically controlled or mechanically it's hard to say.

no problems when starting, runs awesome!!! generally no problems starting either!?

I wouldn;t worry about it too much then unless it becomes a frequent occurance.
