finally got my zed back on the road and now have a new water leak. its coming from the rear end of my engine and using my limited knowledge i've worked out that its the pipe leading to the heater matrix as it only leaks after the engine comes up to temp. am i on the right track? if i am does anyone have any part numbers or any information on how to do this job. thanks

Yes mate thats the one's.I've got to do mine, it's not a hard job it's just a bit tight.I think you have to remove the scuttle panel to make it easier.

This might help.

I got them from MJP eastern auto a trader on here.Give Mike a ring on 01277374201 Just tell him it's the pipes at the back of the engine he'll know straight away, very common problem. ;)

had the same problem! bit of a tight spot to get into but once you move everything out of the way, and small hands its pretty straight forward!made up a replacement pipe with some 19mm bendy hose of ebay till got one from pj at swz.

Did it take all day?Did the dash have to come out?Think mine needs doing :smash:

If you get steam from the battery side then the passenger side turbo coolant feed hose is a typical for this as well. It is a real battle to change, You really need small hands and long arms to do it from underneath
