goose honk on drop ins ?

hey folks

 

short one on air filters : I know you get this " annoying" goose honk sound from the recirc valves when using a K&N cone type filter , but is it possible that you get a quieter , low toned "goose honk" when using a K&N drop in style filter ? ....kicks in at about 5000-5500 rpm.
