Hi,

I've got a 300zx Fairlady Z NA short wheel base (2 seats) and whenever I tell anyone the chassis number (Z32-000164) they don't recognise it as a valid one. Apparently I should have some letters before the Z32 bit.

Does anyone else out there have a car in the same configuration as mine? Do you have any problems with people not being able to give you definite answers because of the strange chassis number?

Cheers,

Andy

That's probably because both the NA and 2-seater models were never officially sold in Europe/UK....and you have both :-)

Yeah Barbel

I have a SWB NA and I had the same problems with Nissan saying the Chassis ID didn't show up on their systems. The only place they can do it is on the Japanese Nissan database which on Nissan Japan seem to be able to access or understand. The 300 Nissan experts either don't exist anymore or don't work for Nissan! Nissan fail to get my business every time although I foolishly keep going back!

Try Silvia for parts if your after them as they have a parts database which they managed to source parts for my car with.
