The 300 was NOT a Z car thats why it wasn't on it!!! Just like the 280.....

how come on the JDM they were labeled as a fairlady Z then duff!?

i thought the 280 and 300 were grand tourers where as the original Z cars were 2 seater sports cars hence the addition of the "X" in the name, although i could well be wrong.

Ah so were would that leave the 260Z 2+2 and the 280Z 2+2 if being a 2 seater was the criteria

it sure has "Z" in it, but to me its a "ZX" car not a "Z" car if that means anything, well its the way i see it in my pink fluffy cloudy little word lol

Why was the 300ZX not called 300Z instead?

the x was added to state a higher level of luxury in its sports car range

and as a guarantee for a higher level of breakdowns in later life

If it was a Z car then it would have been called a 300Z. The 280 was a ZX, the 260Z 2+2 was a one off lol. Why was the 350 not called a 350ZX? It had more luxury options than the 300ZX. Z car is a sports car, ZX is a GT car. While the 300ZX does have some heritage, it is NOT a Z car sorry

PMSL shut up and go stuff your turkey   ;)

Yup too right - hope she hasn't stuffed it too much, or you'll be posting from the toilet for the next 2 days after christmas

Hi,

They're all known as Fairlady Z's in Japan....So they're all Z's!

Jez.

none of this really matters to me as you cant get them in fat ba**ard sizes anyway (6ft 5 and 54 inch chest)
