the zeds been off the road now for 3 weeks and the missus reckons im wandering around like a lost soul , shes caught me twice sitting in it in the garage yes i know its sad but i feel like a part of me is missing and ive never felt like this before over a car

so ive decided to retax her in january instead of waiting until may but i was wondering i cant be the only one ive noticed people on here that have had their zeds off the road for months so do we all feel a loss or do i need to book myself in to rampton for a few days

now im off for a little cry and maybe a sit in the zed before the missus comes home :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

get a grip man :slap: :D . i know how you feel. mines been locked up in the garage for the past month and dare not open it, plus also runs out of tax end of this month. im awaiting a phone call from the bodyshop to take it down, it should have been there weeks ago, but not looking as though its going to be this side of christmas :cry: so may have to retax it.

I went through pining for mine , kept looking out my window to my empty driveway; stay on the forum to cheer yourself up it helped me a lot

My poor zed has a second home in Leyland Lancs as it spent so much time up there :rofl:

 

It was all worth it, I have a happy Zed now :D

Mine is semi-off the road. But I take solice in the fact that I'll be able to drive mine next year without worrying about it being smashed up as a lot of Zs do in the winter.

after 2 close shaves in the past fortnight at low speeds the first at Sherburn when the car hit deisel or something and went straight on instead of left and the day I went to see Andy and Sarah I turned right in front of a car that had flashed me on and I gave it a little too much throttle and it turned sideways(both incidents in the wet)I will still use it most days but when its cold and wet will drive with lots of care. the main reason is the buzz I get driving it

thanx for the replies guys and gals theres nothing really wrong with the zed its just out of tax and the missus is getting nervous when the weather turns bad i get sayings like " do you have to make it slide round corners like that " or " should we be facing this way round " anyway my bodykit turned up today so im buzzing and i'll be in trouble when the boss gets home as ive spent most of the day in the garage and not going to the shops for crimbo stuff lol........................ROLL ON SUMMER
