I have a small active sub (blaupunkt) that I want to put in my boot, is there anywhere in the boot I can take power from that will handle it or will I have to run cables down from the battery?

Thanks

Dan

run a proper cable from battery as theres not any internal wire that could take the current without getting warm and melting.

Firstly, welcome to the mad house buddy.

By sub I presume you mean sub and amp. Personally I would run a new feed from the battery. At least this way you can put the correct fuse in etc etc.

Where abouts in essex are you?

Darrell

also as above, take a feed direct from the battery and use an in line fuse as close to the battery as you can as thats the first thing that will give up and you dont want wire meltin or catchin fire under your carpet, oh and welcome bud.

And don't forget the remote lead from the stereo otherwise the amp will drain the battery continuosly. Normally if you have a decent RCA lead they have a remote wire running in the middle of the cables/ connectors.
