Ok, I'm sure you all remember me asking about ECU remapping. Well I just got hold of the previous owner but one for my car. I turns out that when he sold it, it was running perfectly and at about 380-390bhp the car was chipped by a specialist firm all the paperwork was supplied to the previous owner. I haven't seen any of it. The owner (Adam) said there was a box under the passenger seat which is not there now, so it looks like the arsehole(Mariusz the guy I bought it from) has removed it or one of the shitty garages he took it to did.

So heres the thing can I just go out and get a sports chip as all the extra hard work should have been done and get it installed. According to Adam the car was in fantastic condition and running very well. I bought it as a not running well car hence why I paid silly money for it. I could really do with talking to someone about this. If there is anyone who is knowledgable about these things who give me a call I would be eternally grateful. PM me for my number, I'll call back.

Thanks again.

the ecu with the chip is is not under the passenger seat. if you pull the carpet back at the passenger side (where your feet go), you should see a wood bit. remove this and you will see the ecu.
