Its seems as tho when driving at high speeds my rear end is moving about and it feels scary, i want to get out my top speed but cant as it feels like my zed is drunk.

i had the car up on a ramp the other day and the rear wheels have play from left to right, my friend is a mechanc and he said its the bottom ball joints on the wishbone but he is far from an expert and didnt even realise the hicas system existed.

now i want this fixed but i dont want to fork out all this money on the wrong parts. how can i be sure where the problem is?

You need to get it back on a ramp, or get the rear end in the air and check for play in all the bushes with an assitant moving the wheel left to right, up & down..etc

The most likely culprits are the inner and outer hicas bushes and worn rear shocks.

What sort of condition are your shocks and springs in? Just after i bought my zed i found it had a very similar problem which i tracked down to a knackered rear shock.

After seeing all these suspesion related threads your putting on fella, it sounds like you need a complete suspension overhaul. Just fixing the odd bits on the setup is quite likely to show up other weak spots in the suspension system. Personally i would just bite the bullet and do everything and have the piece of mind that your not going to have any further problems in the future.
