Fuel Leak - What's this part?

I've got a fuel leak from a component but I don't know what it is...

At the top right of the engine there's a valve type thingy on a fuel line and it's bolted to the plenum. Looks like a plastic mushroom with a pipe going into it.

Theres one on the left hand side too but it's just an in-line one and not fastened down to the plenum. My local garage said it was possibly some sort of fuel pressure relief valve but calls to the local Nissan dealer have resulted in erm, err, dunno

Any ideas?

    Chris, that part is is the fuel pressure regulator.

    The other one is the fuel-damper.
