Lescott ??? why? He is an OK player at an OK team. Wez Brown has played awesome this season and has good pace, good going forward and tracking back and good on he ball. Lescott left Cambell isolated and is too slow to go forward.

Mika Richards had an howeller, but i think has done enough in general to keep Neville out unless he hits the kind of form from 4 years back.

 

Wane Bridge Did a dam good job but had no one to hit as the Lampard syndrome took over and all midfielders hung back just incase Lampard charged forward but didn't. Why hasn't one of the other top teams bought Bridge and made him a first team man.

 

Wright-Philips??? has pace but can't cross for toffee and is so little he is easily pushed into a cul-de-sac. Ok if he's turning ball back to oncoming strikers and midfielders then I'd have him there as a second choice but not for crossing (which he can't) to lone a striker. Even out of Form Beckham is much better and Theo Wilcox has been doing this job well for Arsenal. Or play Joe cole on right and Barry on the left.

Then there is Crouch. I'm actually a fan of his but he isn't ever going to be a lone striker. The Only person who may do that well if he ever gets fit again is Dean Ashton, But he'll never be Shearer. Crouch can hold the ball up, has beautiful touch and clever lay off skills, but needs a fast strike partner.

 

Why didn't Macca pick Agbonlahor??? Most inform English striker in the premiership and not even picked for the bench.

When Russia put the striker on and altered their shape. We needed to put another in mid field so he could be man marked. What did he do nothing.

Last night after 18 minutes we were 2 down and being played of the park what did he do, nothing. I mean Hey 18 mins in and were going out. surely that was the time to get another striker on shove Barry back infront of the back 2. Pull Lampard and Lescott off Chuck Brown on. Then if we needed the airial crossing put Becks on after half time.

think about it though... maclaren doesnt want to resign... would you? he knows full well they want to get rid so, if it was you, would you resign and give everyone they want getting nothing for yourself, OR would you hang on and get paid millions of pounds to leave by the FA?

Everyone is quick to blame McClaren (yes, he is useless anyway), but it aint

him out there on the pitch, it's those overrated, overpaid primadona's (sp?).

The FA need to go right back to the root of it all before we will ever have a decent team, we need home grown talent, not imports! They need to introduce a limit on foreign players in a team, then maybe in 5yrs or so we

may see more home grown players breaking through the ranks, then there will be more players to choose from, not the same bunch of underachievers

we've been playing for years.
