Diff oil qty ?

Mine is a Jspec and according to the online manual it takes 1.5 litres where as a European model takes 2.1 litres. I take it the European model takes more because of the cooler, am I correct ?

Yup cooler and pipework :)

well i did mine the other week using silkolene boa90ls from opieoils. On the jspec you can`t really overfill it as when the oil starts to drip out the filler hole that`s when you know your done! Car on the level etc. Slippery stuff too that oil.

Did Opie reccomend that to you, I'm sure he reccomended Silktran Syn 5 to me

Ah just read on their website that the BOA 90 LS is mineral whereas Silktran Syn 5 is Synthetic ;)

Aye opie said it would be ideal. Certainly smelt & felt the same as the stuff that can out. Quite a weird smell too.

If it smelt the same as the stuff that came out, is that a good or bad thing

I thought 'used' oil would be rank compared to new
