Yesterday I found the source of a little noise coming from the rear nearside wheel area.

I have no idea how this happened, I have not had an accident or hit anything for ages!!!

I doubt I will be able to replace just one of these Enkei wheels, so now I am on the hunt for some rims.

Blimby mate, good job you spotted it!!!!! Could have been nasty!

Strange though?? Not seen a wheel crack on its own??

did you hit them when you had your little accident a while ago? probably fatigued them then and just normal driving has finished them off

That might be it. I definitely knocked that corner of the car, but that was nearly 11 months ago!

Yeah, I am glad I found it before something really bad happened.

*scurrys off to look at shiny new rims*

I had a 2 rear alloys develop lots of splits on the inner rim, very strange in it...

Jeeez that could have been nasty , glad you spotted it bud !!!

could of been a right disaster! well spotted that man! ;-)

Couldn't really miss them canyons.....

Blimey Mike.

That looks bad. Probably happened when you hit them a while ago and has just worked its way through.

Could have been when you had th tyres fitted. Bit of extra strain in the fitting. Take it back and moan. You never know.

Theres some nice looking 19's on ebay.

The choice is endless.

Good luck with it and give us a shout if you need the tyres changing over.

Wow, even after a little knock I'm sure that the alloys are not supposed to crack like that on one spoke let alone two. If you ask me it looks like a bit of a flaw in the design or moulding of these alloys.

I would advise you speak directly to the manufactor of the wheels and see if there is anything they can do for you to keep your mouth shut on the various car clubs on the internet that they make wheels for ;).

Thanks mate, I was looking at sticking with 18"s as I have brand new rubber at the moment and don't want to fork out more cash than required.

Have been looking at these bad boys...
