Ok so Athene has left this up to me so here is the plans

 

Lets see 2007 off with a bang and not a wimper and get lots of zeds turn up!

Meet at 10:00 ish at The Queens Head ( have the usual banter drinks and a bit of food )

 

Then a drive through the New forest and take some pics. (locals help needed for this for good places to take some pics)

This meet is also for the benefit of the Ireland lot (Tulip poss Chewie and any others they can talk into coming) that are flying all the way over to meet some more fellow zedders.

 

A few of us are staying in a hotel down in southampton on the saturday night and going out for a few drinks a bit of dinner and a laugh if anyone would like to join us you are more than welcome.

I am going to post up in the other areas to see if we can get some of them to come along as it would be nice to meet them too.

really looking forward to this meet on the sun, it will be really nice to see lots of zs and meet some people, and a nice pub lunch and to see a bit of the new forest, i even bought some thermals today, pity z32dave is not going as that will leave me the oldest zedder there :eek:

 

 

Go on trish, you love being the "mammy" tell the truth :D Will you sort out the valium for the flight? a normal safe airline would require 1 tablet, but for ryanair i'll need something stronger, probably 3 tablets mixed with alcohol should do the trick ;)

I've not 'turned into a fair weather zeder' I've ALWAYS been one.

 

I am fortunate enough to have my Zed as a second car and use it just for pleasure. I therefore don't have to drive it in inclement weather and usually only use it with the targa's off which, to me, gives the maximum pleasure.

 

Even if the weather's cold I find the Zed's heater is more than adequate to keep me warm and cosy even with the targa's off. Rain however is a different matter, so providing the weather is likely to be dry on the Sunday I look forward to another pleasant spin in 'my favourite car of all time' to join you all at the Christmas Meet.

I was hoping to come down to this one the fireblade, but ive got to work and cant get out of it.

Well I was supposed to have moved to Wales by now but the solicitors still seem no closer to giving us a date so we should be around for this now, I will have a chat with the missus tonight!!

great, i was starting to think this was forgotten about, we will meet up with ye lot when its decided where you are going to be, as we dont arrive in bournemouth until 9.40pm then taxi to southampton suppose thats after 10pm, venue to be decided by athene/matt? please not a rave/hard clubbbing type place, im too old

bloody hell thats late!! :shock: why dont you get the train from bournemouth to southampton. but i suppose that would take longer from hurn airport!!
