Just wondering what use to make of this useless area on my dash?

The 2 drawers are too small for a CD disc and the drink holder doesn't.

Suggestions please - what have YOU done with yours?

I suppose I am looking for pics or graphics of what's been done. I can think of a few things - just looking to see what's been done to best effect.

Snooper, A-pillar gauge illumination, Rear Fog and some boot illumination :D

Which leaves some spare for future expansion :D

Andy thanks - but I know - it's sitting in my garden being photographed very hurriedly!!

Mind you I have to put my CDs in upside down - better check to see if I'm on my roof.................

mine has now been fabricated to house an 8" widescreen monitor for my carputer setup, which is no help what-so-ever... however, before that i had this bit of kit from the z-centre to house some of my full dakota digital gauges setup...

the plate is cnc machined and the cutout finish is great, it slots in leaving an excellent finish. a relatively inexpensive addon!

before i fitted the aftermarket gauges, i had this little number to hold your glasses etc. you can also buy a blanking plate for it.

decisions decisions...

you can get some nice blanking plates off fleabay and you can backlight them too

Yeah seen those - not what I want though.

Maybe I'll stick another radio in so I don't have to alter the settings on the top one? AM below and FM on top - cor, and there I was struggling..............

You mean Sat. There's no room for the Nav in that small orifice!

where did he get that dd console from mate im having hell on with trying to convert mine

dave made it himself :)

i also made mine myself but i used a larger screen... it looks very similar to dubloves in this pic...

a very tidy look and still looks nice and stock. the carputer route can work out very expensive if you do not already have amps etc (or even if you do :()so its not really an ideal solution to the 'what shall i fill my bottom din slot' question...
