Hi all,

I started the zed up a few days ago and it seemed ok, but now and again it seemed to miss! I didnt think much of it as its been a while since i started her.Today i started the zed up it sounded lumpy like a subaru and ideas?

or the injector connections, the pins on the plugs corrode fairly easily and turn green, making them cut out intermitently causing the miss.

 

OR theres the CAS ( i think its called that, its been a while since ive been under the bonnet of a zed) which sits on the front of the timing belt cover, same thing as above, check the pins on the connectors arent corroded. I cant remember why that can cause lumpy running, but it was the cause of one of the many problems i had with my old zed.

It didnt have a flat battery did it? I had this and it was the ECU re learning. Coils packs like mentioned might need a little press down with your fingers to make sure they are tight. Could be bad fuel left in the system.

im guessing it could be any of these as its been quite damp in my unit also the battery has been disconnected for a while. So it could be corrosion on the connectors or maybe bad fuel or ecu aahhh where do i start :(
