No disputting the suitability, just the fact it is not the same length!

You have me completely confused as to whats the same length ??

I got my S13 one piece aluminium prop from a guy on sxoc whose company makes them, was about £300odd IIRC. They can make them up with a few measurements, or better still a spare prop. Brand new UJs and everything.

No vibrations or anything, very light and lovely workmanship.

If you give the company the old prop and ask them to make a one piece, the props should be different lengths, they cannot make a one piece from the old prop, the oem prop has a bend in it and is longer than a one piece would be.

so how did they make one from my old prop ?

You can tell them any length you want within the limits for maximum length of a single prop

The prop is on splines to accomodate for the movement of the rear axle, the only time trouble will occur is when you go over bumpy roads and the prop may hit the box.

Right now I got where your at :D

They allow for that when making the prop, you give them the dead size from gear box to diff flange and the prop is made to accommodate enough movement on the splines to still allow the prop to move as the rear goes up and down.

Sorry for me being a bit slow on the uptake
