Hi there,

I've used 10k boost on all my previous cars, cos they've all been quite old and it makes me feel like i've done something useful.

I bought some the other day for the z but when I opened the bonnet, I found there was a confusing number of pipes. I shut the bonnet and reopened it again to make sure but no, the pipes were still there.

It has directions on the packet to put it after the AFM but I don't know where that is. On my old supras it was obvious but I did have trouble keeping the car running whilst I did it. Can I put it directly in after the turbos where the turbo pipes connect to the head bit or shall I throw it in the bin?

Any help greatly appreciated.

certainly wouldnt use it on a zed. If you really wanted to , undo the 2 inner pipes linked to the throttle bodies and fire away

people have applied seafoam through the brake vac pipe which connects to the balance bar so both sides of the plenum get a even amount.

Just remove your air filter at the front and put a finished bog roll, you know the cardboard bit you are left with when everyones used the toilet roll into the air flow meter then squirt through that into a running engine, works a treat !!!

and watch the ambient temp sensor in the aiflow meter go pop, :nelson: ur better off spraying after maf ,,as said above through the throttle body .. :D

Thats the whole point in using the empty bog roll lol it goes inside the airflow meter and allows you to spray through it and into the engine without it touching the air sensor  !!!

>> it goes inside the airflow meter

you will have to remove the mesh first then..

also I can't see how that's supposed to work...that stuff will need to go through the turbos (where you DON'T want it), intercoolers and over 2 meter of pipes, until it finally gets into the manifold.

Dont bother if the cars running well leave things like that alone you can cause more trouble than its worth

???What is it???

its an internal engine cleaner like red ex it removes carbon

Gives better mpg and more bo''ocks

Hi,

I saw a test in Fast Car magazine a few years ago, where they put 10K Boost into the engines of several hatchbacks and took HP readings before and after.

It did increase the engine HP by up to about 5 HP or so, but I don't think I would risk using it on a 300ZX!?

Cheerz,

Jez.
