think you need a polishing stone with wax blocks (look like soap) and keep doing it till its shiny!

Although I'm probably wrong and talking total rubbish... but that's how i remember it :nelson:

I started doing mine but it takes soooooooo long. I ended up taking it to a metal polisher and he did it for £90.

a dremel, a frickin dremmel................mwahahahaah, you need a real polishing set up, frost automotive do a good 3 stage polishing kit but it will still take a age to do right, ideally you need to sand smooth then start polishing

you need to sand smooth then start polishing

Exactamente!!

There is around 4/5 hours of sanding before you even think about polishing

I used abbrassive flap wheels to remove the stippled effect but i didn't even complete one side and gave up. I take my hat off to all those who have polished theirs. The £90 i paid to have mine polished was a bargain in my opinion, the polisher who done it said you need a machine to be putting out at least 30,000 rpm to get a good mirror finish.

I started with an electric drill and flapper wheels to get it smooth, then started on the polishing, which is still not finished!!
