99 spec rear spoiler...

Obviously the spoiler on mine is going goosed.... so if i were to rip it of can i just stick a 99 spec straight on it?

.....

Im assuming life would just be too easy if it happened to have the same mounting holes as the old foam effort? Or does it need some boot skin/massive fundage in order to make it look right?

Also 99 spec front end, im under the impression that just bolts on (quick rattle can etc ;)) to fix the lack of paint and general rubbish condition of the front end of the car?

its a pain in the bum to get the foam one off, and it leaves the back looking poor, so quite abit of cleaning to do, not sure but think the 99spec is raised slightly so you'll need the perpsex strip to cover the gap where the foam one was. Knowing these cars id be suprised if it locates to the same holes, that would be far to easy for the nissan designers. Sure someone will be able to clarify this for ya.

Mines pretty much ready for coming of... lol sick of getting pine needles stuck down the back of it... Not sure my entire boot is in great condition Might just look out for an entire rear back...

oh yes the pine needles, i got moss and alsorts growing from mine, i'm half expecting to find david bellamy in the boot at some point

You would have to:

Pull the old one off - can be difficult and leave the tailgate in a bit of a mess.

Buy a perspex panel to cover the rear holes - Zcentre have these.

Have the existing top holes welded up

Respray the tailgate

Fit the new 99spec spoiler

99 spec spoiler shouldn't be a big deal for a bodyshop, 99 spec front is bolt on , straight forward, it's also eurethane so no worry's about cracking or breaking it when parking ;)

If you are fitting the rear spoiler yourself, make sure it's positioned absolutely perfect. Theres a hairsbreadth between boot and spoiler at the edges. Mine started to dig into the boot after 6 months and grinded the paintwork so had to have it "joined" to the boot right at the tips.
