My car is stored at my parents house. Some drunk lady has smashed into the side of it whilst it was parked up  . She has hit the rear passenger wheel and snapped the alloy in half (must of been really going for it !), and just to the left of it she has done the pillar and it is a definate write off ! I am only third party fire and theft so hoping she has insurance, although first assumptions are she doesn't !

Completely pi&&ed off now and I hope she gets a prison term !

Well it turns out they will recover the costs from the lady whose car it was as a theft and damage claim. They are giving me a hire car until they get the funds back (free of charge for upto 49 weeks), 350z would do nicely but he said probably a peugeot 607 or something with a 3 litre engine !

I hope they charge the driver with everything she has got coming !

Too right - she sounds like a real upstanding member of society... :mac1:

Glad to hear it's getting sorted for you though - too often it doesn't seem to work out in these sort of cases... Nice one. :hyper:

They are delivering me a comparable hire car tomorrow and claiming the costs back from her insurance !

Anyone else had a hire car supposed to be comparable to the 300zx ?

I'll post a picture of the car they give me and well see if its comparable :D

Well here she is !!!

Not too bad actually, has a 2.0 turbo and supercharged engine !

I had a Ford Focas, same year and model and colour that hit my z, so hated that and changed it to a brand new VW Golf 1.9 TD Auto (for laziness, lol) was a nice car. Just think now someone has admitted it and insurance is going to pay out might be a blessing, I did very well out of it and a very nice new spray job :D Thats if you are able to buy it back? Make sure you find top adverts with high asking prices to show insurance how much these beautys cost ;) Hope all gets sorted soon

Bodykits not rare. Half the members have bodykits. Could be replaced with a nice bodykit. ;)

Uk manual. :cool3:

I prefer the standard look, maybe with some “99 parts on the right colour 300. I do think though that, providing the kit is fitted properly, kitted 300s can look very cool also. This car is heavily kitted but it also looks good on the car. Some better quality pictures would be nice.

Congratulations and good luck.

I think Gaz meant it is a rare body kit and I think half the members have bodykits is probably an exaggeration.

Each to their own Funkysi, I like to be different :tongue_smilie: I love the bodykit and have never seen one on another zed or cannot find it anywhere on the web, so its staying. It has been fitted well but the paintwork needs a little going over as a few marks here and there, just wear and tear chips etc. It does have "Hiro" embeded in the sideskirts so could be a Japanese kit. Just going over what extras it has, but from what I can make out, aftermarket dump pipes, de-catted, and unknown exhaust tails, mushroom filters, manual bleed valves (although set to or at least runs standard boost, confused), blitz dump valves. Boost Gauge and voltmeter and 18" Nissan Wheels. Coilover suspension and uprated front grooved and drilled disks. It has done 68,000 miles with full history and I am the 3rd owner. I am going to do a full service, oils, cambelt, fluids etc to make sure its all reliable and hopefully do the deletes, carbon can etc.

Stay tuned :)
