as a few of you know ive been after some nismo 555's injectors but ive also found these on ebay which claim to be drop in fitments the same as 555's they also come with o rings etc. has any1 heard of them or got them? they come in various cc's 740's 370's 440's

Mixed reports on venoms... you're best off getting hold of Nismos imho...

Well obviously 370's are of no use what so ever, the 440's being only 20% more flow not really worth the hassle either, so it's upto whatever they do next.

I do know that a Zed my mate bought with these injectors in (550) ran crap, John dixon tried ages to map the car and couldn't get it right, he ended up with a map using less than 400cc to get it to run half decent. Fitted nismo's (555) in and ran a JD chip, soooo much improvement it was unbelievable ;)

Mixed veiws on these from all the zed forums, with more slagging them off than there is actually happy to use them, so search before you buy!

TBH mate, don't skimp on one of the most important areas of the cars running and performance, you won't really see nismo's second hand and even if you do, you should have them cleaned 1st, other lesser known and cheaper brands just don't have the right reputation.

If you buy the Venom 550's then get them flow tested before fitting and you'll be ok. Some people on here have them and not had any problems at all.

 

Reports in the states about them being bad but not really heard of any first hand problems over here. Either no one uses them or they are fine.

I know of a couple of people in the UK with them, no problems. A lot of the bad reports were a while back now, but definatly get them flow tested first. I've also heard of issues with the supplied o-rings, so its best to use oem seals.

I'm afraid it'll be a bit longer than a week mate! Nismo moved premises and ever since they have been absolutely crap at sending stuff out. I've got two sets of Nismo 550's on order which I've been waiting on for over three weeks. They're in stock, they're just not sending them out when they say they do.

Hopefully it'll all be back to normal before too long now.

 

On a more positive note, yes - I can sort you out with Nismo injectors and a matching DTA performance chip.

great so can you let me know what the costs will be please! plus will the chip be ok with my twin air filters and my other mods as ive heard this can be an issue in finding a right chip to match.

I think Sard actually make all Nismo and Nissan injectors. + I know that Sard are the most popular used uprated injectors in Japan.

i have fitted 550cc venom injectors myself with the dremel method and no probs what-so-ever.

 

got them on e-bay for around £220 with p+p.

 

car runs great, feels great, and performs great!!!!!!!!!

 

better than any suberoo or something like that!!! hey its french!!!

I've gone for the Sard 850cc injectors with a Border fuel rail :cool:

I've got venoms here too, no complaints
