im after a 300zx soon i think. Z32. MUST be a manual.

however the im a little bit paranoid the petrol is going to be a bit too silly for me.

is there much different between the Twin Turbo and the Natrual aspirated models, in terms of petrol consumption?

i currently have a stage 1 200SX, S13.

how would both the NA & TT compare to my S13?

thanks in advance

I would say that typically a TT will average around 21-22mpg and a NA around 25-26mpg.

However it depends on what mix of driving you do, as the TT can actually be more ecominical on the motorway becuase of its taller gearing. Both capable of 30'ish mpg on a steady motorway run.

I'd say it depends how you drive it. Fuel consumption depends on the car too... if you're car isn't too healthy it would probably use more ;)

I reckon a TT would use more petrol than an NA…. but I don’t really know the facts as I only have a TT (and its stings the pockets!)

If you do a search on MPG … there are loads of threads so you could probably get an idea as to what people are getting!!

I currently run both a twin turbo, and a N/A, and don't notice much between the two TBH..

It's all 'smiles per gallon' not 'miles per gallon' with a 300zx ;)

Not much difference between the two, usually around 20 mpg but a TT is better on fuel at cruising speeds due to gear ratios.

cheers for quick response!

how do you think they compare to my 200SX then?

I have both and would say that the TT even with all the mods is slightly better on the fuel than the NA.

I have a theory though that the NA uses more gas because I drive it that bit harder to compensate for the power short fall. Having said that I love my NA as it is loud and very posertive where the TT can be a bit brutal and loose the full driver feed back. Then again the silly grin it puts on your face.

Two very different animals and I'd recomend them both.

have no idea, i think this is a difficult question, as i drive my S13 differently, as the trip goes on. il "behave" at some times, then give it some shit the next!

I've run an NA for about 7 years, and on average £30 buys 200 miles - auto and currently manual - both stock, used daily, and I'm an old man...
