Subaru, Evo or Integra.... nice quick and Jap :) (and family proof)

Congrats on the baby :)x

a nice STi subaru, quicker than a 300 and the missus will love it too kids in the back loads of gear in the boot, sorted :p

2 adults , 4 kids - you need a 7 seater !? and there'nt any "performance" orientated fun to come from them.

Keep the zed as a toy and get a 7 seater family car ?

dave u could be right and that 2.1 pug diesel u have is quite nice as for sti subaru they are quick but the damn insurance is mental!!

You could sell the kids. 2 year olds for instance, still fetch £10K+

Reckon they would in China right now....................... :slap:

Richard  ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Seriously though......

......buy a reasonbly priced small MPV - say a Scenic or Zafira (or perhaps a Volvo T5 estate - nice and fast too) and keep the ZX as a fun car. Insure it on a classic policy for under £250 f/c and use it as a weekend toy.

To name a few.

Nissan Skyline 2Dr or 4Dr.

Lexus GS300 / 400

Nissan Stagea (sometimes referred to as the Skyline estate)

Various Scoobies

Mitsu Lancer / Evo.

Mitsu galant

Transit mini bus (LOL)

Grand Cherokee

Grand voyager

BMW M3 or M5

My particular choice for a proper family car would be the Stagea. Lovely looking car. 2.5 N/A or Turbo. 250 odd BHP.

IMHO, the nicest high powered Jap Estate car is the Legnum VR4 (same as Gallant estate).

If I had kids, heaven forbid, I'd probably look at something like this.

that is nice and the Autech ones have the rb26dett as well :nana2:

You can pick a very nice one up for about 5K. Not bad for the calibre you are getting?

I am looking at buying one eventually and giving my N/A Skyline to the boy. Now he's 21. Still gonna cost him a fortune to insure though. But that will become he's problem :D

Not my cup of tea at all, looks very simular to a Volvo T5

LOL> I like that car too glen. :D I love the new shape that Volvo are producing lately. But NO! I ain't getting one though. I just think they look rather pleasant. :D
