Hii, I just found a nice 96 model TT with Tarox brake system etc..double airbags..fukll equpied and he´s asking me 17.000euros I finally reduced and convinced to pay 16.000euros for it...how do you all see it? is it nice? looks decent? need your advices and suggestions..it has 66.000kms always on garage.

It all depends on whether that is the going price where you live.You would never get that much for a stock Z32 in the UK!

It looks a real nice clean car. I don't know what they go for over there. If this is a reasonble price then buy it. Not my favourite colour, but looks a good all round genuine motor.

Yeah many folks have told me this already, looks decent! and clean, low mileage and all original, I think the owner and his brother are both an enthusiastics of Z´s he´s havinga baby so can´t afford to put up with the maintenance etc..

Probably right but I quoted that option before and..not possibly to register a car with Japanese VIM number and also consider that I don´t live in UK so right hand steering wheel would be somehow a banner for me. ;) ;)

My dad looked at zeds when he was in France over the summer, they seem to go for an awful lot more than over here, to be honest i'm no expert but it does'nt sound unreasonable for europe - i think its just england where the bottom has fallen out of the market! Infact when i come to sell mine i'm gonna let him drive it over there and see if he can get anymore for it, rhd but you never know, they are going for quite a lot of money. :)

I was surprised when my dad told me how much they were going for.

 

Also the one he is looking at is a 1996! So its not really over priced it just seems it compared to our prices. :)

Yeah I know! I think I am going to buy it, Z´s are not so common anymore and I think I can fix it up really nice:)

That's what I thought too.

 

1996 will be one of the very last European cars and 68000kms is extremely low for an 11 year old car. If I found a similar example of a UK spec TT manual here, I'd certainly consider it. I think that is the kind of price an excellent condition 300zx should fetch

Personnally I would try and get it checked over by a mechanic that knows what he is looking at. Take it for a long test drive and see if any problems arise etc.

 

In the end the price seems aout right for your location as shown by ebay and if you are willing to pay that amount then that is up to you.

Yep zx-eyes is absolutely right, if you take a look at autoscout24.de or mobile.de you´ll see that most Z´d´s are even more expensive with over 15 years..some Z´s are from 91 92 with about 180.000kms and they are asking above 16.000euros..and trust me they got nothing to do compared to this one I saw..maybe when I test it it´s crappy ( hope not) but from what I seen looks like very decent and clean. He even told me it´s ok to take it to Nissan Dealer and have them do a Diagnosis. I think it´s a fair price for europe. :cool:
