My swb seems really easy to drift,on a par with the s13 i had if not better, wondered if anyone had ever seen one in action drifting. i havent but if 2.5gts skylines can why not a swb z?

maybe the reason you dont see many z`s drifting, is the cost when it goes bang.

yeah. i doubt whether she would like the bill when it goes pooooof. lmao

Steer from the Rear use zeds - at least they did last time i heard

not any more, they ditched them because they were too costly and unreliable iirc.

Pity, they looked great :) think they've got rx7's now .

Steer from the rear didn't really do drifting tho - it was more a doughnut/burnout show. I've said it before and I'll say it again, ZEDS DON'T DRIFT LOL

They're way too snatchy to hold a natural drift

really? not even a swb, i've had 2 s13s,3mr2's 2 of which were tubbys,a 3door cossie and numerous bm badged rwd sheds and i reckon my z is well up there for predictable, controlable slides.........mind you i've never won anything in d1, or for that matter even entered an event of any description. so i'l shut up :x:

I do it and it's lot of fun :)

It's way more difficult than any other car but with all the modofication i did, now it's start to be easy...

I don't have dry sump, I damage the bearing offen. I pull the engine yesterday and bearing #5 is dead :(

Cost me 40000€ so far to drift, race and drag with the Z.

I've had a play in an S13 and I thought it was great to drift and powerslide, really controllable. The Zed however even with the hicas gone I find difficult to gauge and it's either too much or not enough back end. I've had 300's for over 5 years and still can't get it right!

...........and thats exactly why I say Zeds don't drift!!!! Yes you CAN get the back end out with them BUT not in the controllable way you can with other cars...
