let the American site do what and say what they want!! personally i couldnt give a rats ass what they think. Im the first to rip the piss out of others cars as to be honest i dont mind getting it back. Ive seen some dogs of american modded cars, equally as bad as some over here and some equally well done ones.

The US Z scene is where it's at though. UK modding scene in general is cheesey and seriously OTT. But some nice cars at the Z fest. :)

what a SAD thing to say .....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think you have up-set a lot of people with that comment..!!!

hang your head in SHAME..... :slap:

What saying the UK modding scene in general is crap? Most think the same! lol

I am only being sarcey anyway. Everyone takes what I say too seriously. I seriously don't care what people do to their cars, whether I like it or not. It's just a talking point. Nothing more, nothing less. Nothing I say is meant in a malicious way. I'm just being me. C.unt or not. :)

Seriously, driving round UK roads, the amount of shitty modded Saxos, Clios Corsas etc is at a HUGE rate. Overseas, as bad as some places are in the lack of taste department, you don't see half the amount of junk driving around on the roads as you do here.

Quite exactly how that is having my head up my colon, is beyond me!

thats the problem, just cause you think they are not nice doesnt make them a load of sjite, ive seen saxos, corsa's and so on that have had as much spent on them as some of the nicest cars on this forum

i agree the uk modified scene in the main is barried up corsas etc, all the same bits stuck on, just different variations and that makes it crap, i like to see differant individual modifications apart from a bright paint job and a body kit, i wish i could afford to do it with mine but i cant. Its just a shame that there does not seem to be anything individual these days. I do not know if this is the case in America and yes its all down to individual taset but everything seems to be getting more and more the same.

Exactly, in the main, most people's attempt at trying to be individual, or different, often ends up turning into something very generic.

Personal taste aside, some people have great vision and brass balls to do what they do to cars. Some of the young modifiers of today are the design people of the future.

I guess it's a credit to our little countries on this part of the world, that we pursue our love and passion for cars in horrible weather , speed cameras, cops hiding in ditches, fuel prices and crap roads.

Sorry guys but you lot lost the point of the thread somewhere, I think it was Si's comment about the all conquering yanks, you were meant to see what the Aussies thought of our cars and rejoice in the fact that cars like Jasons Beast and Vince's bling mobile, Steve's sweet and clean car and the Z centre car (sorry forgot his name) have all cought the eye of a different country and are being praised and yes critisised, but from what I read in a positive way.

Now behave the lot of you :p
