The more I live in and hear from other UK residents, the more I become concerned, so I would like to ask everyone here is this the country you would like to raise children in?

where i am yes. 15 minutes down the road no lol

overall its getting more and more difficult. things that have been going on recently do worry me about the things i'll have to face when the little uns are older but i suppose thats natural.

Dont know why peole whinge so much about the UK.. yep crime is bad but at least you can find food on the shelves to feed your children, least schooling is free, there is the NHS (yeah ok its not perfect - what is?)

One of the reasons I cant go back to zimbabwe to visit my family is because there is no food on the shelves, you cant even buy a box of matches. Honest to God the shelves are bare all over the country. No bread, milk nothing!

So be grateful that at least you can find food to feed your kids! :)

Thats the reason i live and work in the country so i don't have to put up with the shit and assholes in the cities !

great place to bring them up if you avoid the cities....its nothing new though kids were mostly considered a menace back in victorian times...often they were sozzled on gin or roving around in gangs up to no good.....Oliver Twist...is more truthful than fictional....state schooling and succesive factory acts soon sorted out the biggest problems....the media are just on one lately with stuff like Reece Jones in liverpool...but it happened in the so called golden age too

Keith Lyon's body was found on 6 May 1967, on a bridle path in an area between Ovingdean and Woodingdean, East Sussex, known as Happy Valley.

The murder weapon was found days later in school grounds a mile away.

The knife was still stained with Keith's blood, along with that of another unknown person. He was just 12 years old and to date no-one has ever been caught.

some school boys were seen walking towards him on the path but they never came forward....sad example but it makes you realise its always been going on

i dont care for raising children so i had to vote dont care lol

A lot of the problems lie in the parents.

never a truer word spoken!!! If the parents have got the intelligence and self respect of an amoeba how can we expect the offspring to be any different.

That;s exactly the sort of parents I based my reasoning on

no its true, the only folk that knock kids out like there is no tomoro are the thieveing, idle scum of society, if you cant pay for your kids yourself, dont fooking have them and whilst your at it Wear a johnny and get a fooking job!!

Nowt wrong with this country just seems fashionable to pull it to bits

in my opinion

If you don't like it Fook off somwhere else you do have the choice

exactly he paid for them and brought them up to be decent human beings.

Maybe i should have worded it better as i have already said, if folk cant afford kids they shouldnt have them.

Round here all the lazy, nasty little wasters all get prgnant to get the extra cash, teach the offsopring no values, they dont care what they do as long as they get their social money and its these people that are responsible for the demise of society

I don't think the world as it is now is a good place to bring children into, let alone the UK.

FFS Sara. I wonder if this tree bow will hold my weight.

I just popped on here to cheer myself up and its dooom and more DOOM and then there's FOOKING GLOOM and his brother DEATH aswell

AARRGG :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

its how it gets you living where i live, seeing all the trouble makers. and criminals getting everything paid for by the taxpayers whilst im working my arse off to just to get by.

Even if i wanted kids i couldnt because i just cant afford them!

well fookin slap my arse and call me sally............How you doing Chris?

Sadly this is my theory too

Hence I don't have any.....

Still we are lucky here in the UK compared to some countries. I would much rather bring up children in my village than in any of the major towns and cities; there are decent schools in Bucks; plus the Chilterns (except High Wycombe  ) is a nice place to live.

Still if I could find the right job there I'd be living by the sea in North Cornwall

I voted yes BTW - it does depend on where in the country you are.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Hey my soon to be Ex wife has been to see me today to tell me what her poker faced bitch of a solicitor is going to do to me BLA BLA BLA.

All based on her lying boll*cks. while I had to sit there and stop myself from throttling her, because she's my childrens mother and that would upset them.

Then go back to dealing with the scumbags that work (well that what they say they do) for me.

There's Nowt wrong with this country apart from the fact that everyone thinks their entittled to more than there worth, that their expectation exceed their capablilities and they think this because the country is run by leftwing arse wipes, who think being a politition means they have a right to tell us what to do. That also think taxing anyone who puts in work or endever so they can pay the dolites similar income to the residue of said worker salarys. Thus bringing us down to the lowest common denominator (as with education etc because they themselve are fooking unemployable at anything else)

Then create a system that protects all imigrants and none christian religious groups. Ensuring that they all have nice houses and plenty of food money, decent cars etc all on the state. Whist shitting on it own indiginous people especialy the ones laying down there lives to protect our freedoms (fooking joke)

Then I'd have to say "Yes its a fab place to bring kids up"

I think I'd like to have a dozen more then I could retire on the dole.
