MOT Emissions

Can a leaking rear seal on a turbo cause the Co emissions to go high during an MOT?.

 

The exhausts produce some blue smoke because of this when idling for a while and was wondering whether the leaking oil from turbo could mix with the normal gases coming out of exhausts to give high Co readings.
