Just wondering if anyknow knows the weight of a std SWB tt.

Im curious to how much extra weight has been added by filler from fitting wide rear arches.

Gonna try and find me a weighbridge. Anyone out there fitted arches themselves and know how much they used?

Cheers

TT Targa Kerb weights

SWB - 3,414 Ibs (1548 kg)

LWB - 3,495 Ibs (1585 kg)

I believe standard method of weighing is with all fliuds, 1/4 tank of fuel and no driver.

NA's weigh around 90kg less. Auto's weigh about 15kg more.

any idea on how much bodyfiller weighs?

Im wondering whether mine is now heavier than a 2+2 due to wide arch work

with the amount of arch that is cut away i doubt it will make much difference lol, it will be heavier but not much

I weighed my UK TT LWB Targa Manual a couple of weeks ago, It had approx 45 litres of Vpower onboard and a couple of air tools/various tools.

Weight was 1490kg take off 15kg for tools?..... They aren't as heavy as I first thought :D
