...which are the best pads for the stock brake setup?(my car's an NA, so I don't need to upgrade the discs)

Featured Replies

I have Axxis metalmasters on my NA and am very happy with them..

A LOT better when compared to stock-Nissan brakepads.

How much did they cost, and are they 'performance' pads?

Axxis metalmaster are performance pads.

I paid $75 (approx. £25) for all pads (front and rear)

"BEST"....damm, you'll get TONS of diffent opinions.

in MY case, I'd recommend Porterfields R4-S, previously baked in an Oven.

Street price is about $100 for the front wheels, but you can find them for about $75.

These pads allow my Z, with the X-drilled but stock size rotors, to slow down by 1.08 G (when at operating temp). When cold, they brake in the same ballpark as the stock pads (but they heat fast)

BTW, unles you go on a race track, no real need to upgrade the rear pads

Zee you
