I took the 300zx for a day trip to Bath yesterday.....

 

.......I hadn't really used it much in the last few weeks and I had forgotten just how much I love the car. It's a 100 mile trip each way and despite the 30 degree heat, the ZX was running perfectly; the turbos were boosting well with no performance issues - who says Zs are unreliable :dance:

 

I burned a few pounds worth of V-power but it was worth every bit; plus an empty M4 encouraged me to press the fun pedal a bit too hard if you know what I mean....... Still that's why I have the car :tongue:

 

Apart from a superb drive, Julia and I had a good day; walking along the river, lunch in the Pump Room and then a wander around Dyrham Park followed by afternoon tea.....

its great cruising down a motorway with the roofs off listening to the v6 roar. love it.

I'm about 15 miles from Bath!

trouble is then you have to spend ages getting the dead flies off your windscreen and bumper lol well worth it tho

Cant beat a blast when its been a while always use to bring a smile to my face, when i had mine it was a weekend toy. Like a big kid again. :p

Sweetness :duffer: That's the thing about it. I've been driving the old man's new range rover for the last 2 weeks (he's on hols and i've...borrowed it lol) great big luxury machine, but it just doesn't do it for me.The sound, the raw power, the pride of driving around in a z takes beating :)

Well I was out in the Z on Sunday. Bath's a nice place. I used to work in the centre part of the city.

I went out late last night for a blast across Dartmoor, up past Prince town, where the prision is.. dont know if anyone else noticed, but the inside edge of the moon was a darkish blue colour.

i'm getting withdrawal syptoms, i so miss driving mine, especialy on the rare days when its sunny :cry:

His actually has a mixture on it been 99spec front, wings west rear and not sure what skirts!
