Took my new Z to work for the first time today since it was such a nice day and a Friday.

To my delight on the way home, I had a nicely warmed up Zed, an empty slip road/dual carriageway was able to try out the acceleration for the first time - OMG it was like launching a rocket!! :hyper:

According to me AVC-R I peaked at 1.44 bar - foooking marvellous!!!

Now I'm not into bombing along the road at ridiculous top-end speeds, but the shove in the back and the need to hang on to the steering wheel whilst in mid-boost - that's what Zedding's all about :nana2:

It was nice to see the petrol gauge accelerating downwards almost as fast as those 555's did their job!!

Just thought I'd share that with you!!

Mr Grin. :)

JB.

Turboz,

My spec list (courtesy of former owner Steve) is:

Single pop intake

ecu reprogrammed for 555cc nismo injectors

Apexi Avc-r boost controller

Nismo 555cc injectors

87.5mm wiseco forged pistons

Ported and polished heads

Greddy Side Mount Intercoolers

RPS Turbo Clutch

Turbo Dynamics Roller bearing turbos

One piece lightened steel drive shaft

It feels at the moment like Steve did a great job of selecting all these components... plus, I was mighty glad of the AP six-pot brakes when I rounded a corner to find a tractor hauling a corn cart!! Absolutely no worries for them big boogers!

CheerZ,

JB.

nice spec mate :)

are you planning to dyno it at some point?

Thanks bud :D - and yes, I sure am... She's running great at the moment, but very rich - which is good from a safety point of view, but may be able to be improved slightly I guess.

that's a nice spec, with the brakes too it sounds like fun.

Have you done anything to the suspension setup?

Yes mate - she has the following fitted:

Stillen front & rear sway bars

Stillen adjustable tension rods

Tokico shocks

Eibach lowering springs

Front Strut Brace

Makes a big difference - really sits lovely and flat... :hyper:

Make sure you let us know the dyno results. Would be really interested to see what power figures its delivering ;)
