Jesus the depreciation! That's already lost nearly £200,000!!

i thought these sold for 750k and it cost VW 1 million to make? so not a bad investment if so, (well not for vw, who's board members must've been smoking something at the time when they signed that project off)

I thought Clarkson said they each cost £5 million to make. Definitely a good investment if you have the spare cash, rarely drive it and keep it in a bubble.

Dont know how much it will be yet but I beleive the Ferrari Enzo FX is a Veron beater?

Prehaps thats why?

Don't quote me on that though :D

that's what I thought, but maybe Clarkson was exaggerating?

I think it would make a good investment though. they made so few of them. Give it 50 years and that thing will be worth an absolute mint!

Maybe a little bit girly of me to say, but I am not sure I would want that colour combo...

Can you imagine the Paypal fees

According to what I rememeber it is quarter of a million £250,000 that they lose on each car........so the 1 mill to make and the £750,000 selling price sounds about right.

in 50 years you wont be able to start the engine as all things related to internal combustion will be outlawed

in 50 years you wont be able to park it anywhere as the small bits of parking will be taken over by the militry goverment of the day for "poulation controll"

in 50 years the scrap value of the car will be worth more than the cars value due to the chinese using all the earths metal and re-forming it into tacky £9.99 garden table sets

in 50 years cars of this type will be no more than icons of an age when things were good, make the most of the next ten years because i see boredom and total compliance to all things on wheels

Veyrons cost VW £5million each to produce and they were on sale for £1million each I believe.
