Its not the guns there are many law abiding gun owners, there are many sports involving guns, personally i do not see the point in them, but many folk enjoy clay pigeon shooting.

The law for rightfull posession is very tough, and well thought out, and those of us that do posess firearms lawfully have a hell of a job hanging on to them, and thats not to mention the expense of the security measures we go through to stay owners.

They can make the law as tough as they want, they could even ban guns altogether, fact is that its illegal guns that are the problem and always has been, the change of law only affects those already complying with it in the first place.

 

ban guns and it will only stop people who legally use them ie gamekeepers hunters, sportsmen ........the fookers who run about shooting people dont have registered guns, and if they dont use a gun they will use a knife, screwdriver, hammer, metal bar, baseball bat, car etc........ so do we ban all those as well

The thing is with guns is that they carry Kudos with young guys wanting to appear tough, they can also kill someone from a distance which is difficult with the other weapons :(
