you wont need a new alternator, maybe a good battery, and no need for the text speak lol

i have 2 amps running in mine, 1 for the perfect 10 and 1 for my kappa components up front, the speakers in the rear are run off the head unit for a bit of balance... with this setup i havent had any problems using the standard alternator or battery :)

mine doesnt have the most powerful amps in the world as it isnt setup for masses of volume, just for a good, crisp and balanced sound quality so i guess it all depends on how far you are wanting to go.

there are lot of write ups on what you can fit where and how but i have 13.5" components in the doors having modified the existing speaker mount, my tweeters are mounted on alluminium brackets just behind the airvents in the doors and the crossovers are tucked away in the dash. for the moment i only have 4x6" speakers in the standard rear fitment but i eventually plan on upgrading to a similar setup as the front to get the ultimate surround balance as they can tend to get drowned out by the bass at times :)

HTH...

hia matey,

similar to joley p, have a quality amp running 6x9 in the door with tweeters fitted in the top of the door, crossover hidden in the door, 5x7 in the rear pods, using a kenwood amp to run the basebox, when running the wiring a few points for ya, put the fuse as close to the battrey as possible for the amp, earth the amp as close as possible to the amp, run the power & remote lead the opposite side to the car of the speaker @ rca leads. caerfull with the volume you only have one set of ears LOL!!
