A mate of mine wants his standard wheels to fit the arches. At the minute they look too sunken.

What size spacers are needed to make the standard zed wheels fit the arches better?

Has anyone got spacers on with standard alloys?

Thanks

Paul

I presume he has jap spec alloys, UK ones will look better and not need spacers.

Yeah sorry, it is j-spec.

Thanks

Paul

Tell him to fit UK rear wheels instead of wasting time fitting spacers. JDM rims with equal widths do not look good. With UK rims, it looks nice.

Get him to buy some flash new 18" rims with a deep dish on the rear.

then slam it to the floor with some expensive coilovers.

Then it will look good...

Get a tape measure and see how far it is from side of the wheel to the edge of the arch = size of spacer ;)

If it's not too big you won't need longer studs.

They're still only small wheels though so never going to fill the arches properly.

Or get a mate to stick his fingers between wheel and wheel hub and then tighten nuts till wheel fits nicely in arch or till you cannot bear his screaming. Then remove wheel and measure thinkness of his fingers before swelling starts. This will give you rhe spacer size required and make sure your mate keeps his hands of your bird and understand what would happen to his nob if he doesn't.
